Bio

Benjamin Alden is an award winning contemporary figurative painter living and working in Norwich, Norfolk, UK. 

Benjamin’s work has been shown nationally, with recent exhibitions including Mall Gallery shows such as ‘ING Discerning Eye’(2022) and ‘Figurative Art Now’(2021).

Through his artworks which he produces in a range of mediums from Oil paint to pastel he creates evocative and ambiguous scenes. He is interested in how figures occupy their space and how they affect and are affected by their surroundings, be it the room they are in or the people they are with.
